Since I have started this fitness journey, what I eat daily has changed significantly. I normally eat at least six times a day. This includes three big meals and three small snacks. People think eating less will help you lose weight and even though you will see results, not eating slows your metabolism and sends your body into starvation mode so the second you put food in your mouth all the weight you lost from not eating comes back. Although this list is pretty accurate, there are a few times a week I may switch up my meals or have a cheat day.
- Breakfast- Avocado and egg sandwich
This is probably my favorite meal all day. I will actually go to sleep excited to wake up just so I can eat this for breakfast. This is one of the items on this list that will never change. I take half of an avocado and spread it on two pieces of whole grain toast then fry one egg and put it between the toast for a nice breakfast sandwich.
2. Snack 1- yogurt and granola
My first snack of the day is key lime flavored yogurt with granola pieces. This So Delicious brand yogurt is made with coconut milk rather that regular milk and taste like key lim pie when you add granola.
3. Lunch- Herbalife shake
This is another thing that never changes. I have the nutter butter flavor Herbalife meal replacement shake every day for lunch. In one of my previous blogs, I explain more about these but these are quick and easy for every day lunch and keep you full.
4. Snack 2- Popcorn or granola cups
In my blog that list healthy snack options, I talked about my favorite kettle popcorn and granola cups. For the most part, these are always my second snack of the day.
5. Dinner- Chickpea pasta with shrimp and spinach
This varies each week, but my roommate and I always have this once a week. Chickpea pasta is on the healthier side even though it may not taste like Olive Garden, it is still so delicious when the shrimp is added!

6. Snack 3- Healthy Ice cream
The last thing I eat is a Yasso ice cream bar after my dinner. These are greek yogurt bars that are only 100 calories and taste just like ice cream. If you have a sweet tooth I highly recommend these because you don’t have to feel guilty about eating one after!
This should give at least an outline of what a day of healthy and easy eating looks like! In this case the more food the better!
