My Saving Grace in Protein Form

Today I will be covering a topic that has literally been one of the main reasons for my significant weight loss and I cannot wait to share it with you.

Protein shakes are commonly used in weight loss diets because getting your daily source of protein is essential.

Before I discovered Herbalife, I never drank protein shakes because the texture was never thick enough for me, or it tasted horrible as do most protein snacks do.

In 2017, a Herbalife “club” called GetFit Nutrition opened in a town close to mine and at first I was really confused what the main product was so I went to check it out.

When you walk into a club, you will most likely be greeted nicer than you would at Chick-Fil-A. If you are new to the process, the employees walk you through it step-by-step.

Step 1. Aloe

When I first heard the word aloe I thought of the substance that helps sunburns go away. But this aloe taste like flavored water that comes in a very small shot glass type of container that jumpstarts your digestive system.

Step 2. Tea

So step two is an herbal tea that can either be served hot or cold. There is about four different flavors of the regular tea or you can add a tea-bomb which is a little dissolving tablet that has caffeine to give you energy and wake you up. The tea-bomb also adds extra flavor to the tea and makes it so yummy! The tea boosts your digestive system out and acts as a detox to clean you out. (and boy does it work)

Step 3. Shake

The final step is the actual shake itself. I love milkshakes and smoothies so I was going in with the expectation of the consistency being that of a milkshake or smoothie and it was exactly that. The flavors range from fruity to chocolate to vanilla to coffee flavored. A few of my favorite flavors are nutter butter, sea salt caramel, and blueberry muffin.

Meal and protein containers

The shake itself is about 230 calories and 24 grams of protein. This shake is a meal replacement so I normally have it for my lunch. Because it has so much protein, it keeps me full until my next meal.

The shake starts out as a powder. There is a meal and a protein container which you put two scoops of each in a blender with even amount of ice and water and thats literally it.

For maximum results, drink one shake for either breakfast or lunch then one at dinner. Then when you get to a weight that you are satisfied, one a day is plenty!

I’m not one to promote a product if I don’t believe in the results but, this is the real deal and one reason I lost 30 pounds.

Incorporating Herbalife into your everyday lifestyle can have a major impact on your weight loss journey!
